About the machine
Micron 50
Ball refiner for spreadable cream, ice cream paste and chocolate production
Machines for grinding, manufacturing and refining creams
The MICRON 50 is introduced into the Selmi range as a high-performance ball refiner designed for processing spreads, anhydrous pastes for ice-cream, pralines, cremini, and chocolate. Thanks to its 60 kg tank, the machine easily handles larger production volumes, achieving a particle size of up to 30 microns and ensuring a uniform, high-quality texture.
Designed to meet the needs of laboratories requiring productivity and continuous operation, the MICRON 50 features a compact, completely redesigned structure that optimizes space and simplifies production processes. The motor positioned at the top improves ergonomics and ensures perfect sealing of the tank, while the lobe pump maintains a constant product recirculation, essential for uniform refining. The entire system is electrically powered and supported by a durable double-chain transmission.
The MICRON 50 is also equipped with an advanced double-chamber bain-marie temperature control system, allowing the operator to set different temperatures between the upper and lower areas of the tank. This makes it possible, for example, to keep the lower section cooler to compensate for the heat generated by the friction of the balls, preserving the organoleptic properties of creams, pastes, and chocolate. The integrated cooling unit further stabilizes the thermal balance, ensuring a consistent and controlled refining process.
Completing the machine are an updated software and a modern, intuitive graphical interface that allow up to ten recipes to be stored and the process to be managed either manually or automatically. The MICRON 50 is the ideal choice for professionals seeking quality, efficiency, and precise control in a compact yet high-performance refiner.
